PG &Research Department of Computer Science organized a webinar on Journey to Salesforce on 25th July 2019.Mr.K.Rajadurai, Technical Team Lead, Wilco Source Technologies Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad; alumnus of Nehru Memorial College demonstrated the working principles of salesforce through video conferencing.
The webinar aims to give practical exposure in Sales force , a SaaS service model. He started the session by acknowledging the Management, Staff and everyone in the campus when he studied here. He presented the basics of cloud computing and explained the various service models. He demonstrated the implementation of salesforce by creating project management app. He emphasized the use of Apex, Visualforce and Classic Vs lightning web components. He insisted the students that additional certification along with the degree is an add on benefit to enter into the job market. He recommended various web links and MOOCs to obtain certifications in salesforce. He explained various opportunities in salesforce and congratulated the students for their bright future.
Earlier Dr.M.Muralidharan, HOD of Computer Science welcomed the gathering and introduced the Resource Person. Dr.Pon.Periyasamy, Principal presided over the function. Totally 230 under graduate and post graduate final year students were participated in this webinar. The program was coordinated by K.PonvelAzhagu Lakshmi and P.Kalapana, Assistant Professors of Computer Science. Mr.Naveen of final MCA gave the feedback about the webinar.
