Interactive Programming using PYTHON

"Try to master technology in order to unleash potential and achieve success in your life" is the message given to the participants by Dr. E. Ramganesh, Registrar(i/c), Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli in the Two day State level workshop on "Interactive Programming using Python" organized by Post graduate & Reserach Department of Computer Science, Nehru Memorial College, Puthanampatti on 29th & 30th September 2014.

Delivering the valedictory address Dr. Ramganesh told that technology plays an important rple in the 21st century. Hence the students ought to leverage the technology for their learning pursuits. Fifty percent of the Indian population belongs to the younger generation. Hence the Social transfermation and the economical growth could not be feasible without the optimum and effective utilization of Science & Technology especially by the youngsters. The present day students could innovate new ideas and become entrepreneurs.

Earlier the workshop was inaugurated on 29.09.2014 by Er. Pon. Balasubramanian, President of College Committee. In the two day workshop students were trained in developing game applications by using Python language. The entire training was organized by the faculty members who have substantial expertise in Game Development. Mr. Pon. Ravichandiran, Secretary of College COmmitee offered the felicitations. Dr. T. Jayaprakasam, Principal presided over the function.

The workshop was organized and coordinated by the members of Python Core Group comprising the Head of the Department Prof. M. Muralidharan, and the Assistant Professors Ms. K. PonvelAzhagu Lakshmi, Ms.V.Priya,Ms. P. Kalpana, Ms. S. Devika and Mr. R. Mahendiran Around 85 students from various institutions participated in the workshop. Participants M.Bhavani of Urumu Dhanalakshmi College, Naresh of St.Josephs' College and M. Badri Devi of Shrimathi Indira Gandhi College provided the feedback about the workshop.
