Activities of the Department - (2016-2017)

• Department of Economics organized a Guest Lecture on "How to Speak English in a right way?" on 29-07-2016. The Chief Guest was Thiru.S.Raghavan, Head of the Department of Soft Skills, Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College, Trichy.
• Department of Economics organized a Guest Lecture on Demonetisation on 26-12-2016. The Chief Guest was Dr. A.B.Angappapillai, Assistant Professor of Economics, Government Arts and Science College, Theni.
• Fresher’s Day was celebrated on 18-07-2016.
• Department of Economics organized a Career orientation programme on Soft Skills on 28-12-2016. The Chief Guest was Dr.K.T.Tamilmani, Head of the Department of English of our college.
• Department of Economics organized Economics Association Meeting on Career Opportunities for Economics Graduates on 9-03-2017. The Chief Guest was Miss Joshi Jayarani, Assistant Manager, Syndicate Bank, Puthanampatti.
