PG & Research Department of Computer Science organized a 4 day Foundation course on Computer and its applications on 04th July 2016 to 11th July 2016.
The course has been initiated to provide basic knowledge about computers and its applications for those who joined in Ist year Computer Science and Computer Applications. The topics like History and generations of computer, followed by the demonstration of hardware Components, Algoritham and Flowchart and Computer Applications were covered during the programme. The students are familiarized with Operating Systems like Windows and Linux followed by Basics of Internet and Job Opportunities. Each student is motivated to learn and utilize the facilities related with computers.
Totally 140 students have participated in this program. Dr. T. Jayaprakasam, Principal presided over the function. Er. Pon. Balasubramanian, President College Commitee offered felicitation. The program was coordinated by Prof. M. Muralidharan, Head and the faculty members of Department of Computer Science.
