Mr R. Selvakumar, the Librarian of the college delivered a special lecture on Career Guidance for the students. He spoke elaborately on “How to prepare for Civil Services Examination.” In his preamble to the lecture he traced the history of Civil Services right from the East India Company to the present day. He instructed the students-aspirants to follow a regular preparation schedule of 4 to 5 hours a day. He gave them some useful tips for preparation like note-taking, review of key points, selection of subjects for Main exam etc.
